Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Linkcorp’s MyHighStreet network of apps / websites brings the local retailers, salons, cafes, restaurants and professional service providers on your high street, to your phone 24/7, making them even more accessible. Providing customers with click & collect, delivery options and appointment bookings, all from the convenience of your phone. Our mission is to transform the traditional e-commerce landscape and to build connected digital high streets.

This Privacy Policy applies to information that we collect about you when you use:

  • Any of our mobile applications for Android and iOS;
  • Our websites (including thelinkcorp.com/.com, myhighstreet.app/ .net, anydomain.myhighstreet.app)
  • Our other Linkcorp products, services, and features that are available on or through our websites (plans, the Payments feature); and
  • Other users’ websites that use our Services, while you are logged in to your account with us.

Throughout this Privacy Policy we’ll refer to our websites, mobile applications, and other products and services collectively as “Services.”

What information Linkcorp collects on behalf of Businesses, participating in the MyHighStreet app network (“Suppliers”)

Information You Give to Us 

We receive and store any information you enter on our platform and it is listed on the registration form. This includes information that can identify you ("personal information"), including your first and last name, telephone number, country, email addresses and address where the .

You can choose not to provide information to us, but in general some information about you is required in order for you to purchase products or services. It also includes details of the purchases you have made and vouchers that have been issued to you.

We generate automatically

We may also collect some information from your mobile device such as operating system version, application versions and your language settings. This helps us to improve your experience and make sure you receive the content you have shown interest in.

When you use certain features of our Platform, we may collect information about your precise or approximate location as determined through data such as mobile device’s GPS to offer you an improved user experience. Most mobile devices allow you to control or disable the use of location services for applications in the device’s settings menu. Please note that we DON NOT store your location on our servers at any given time as your privacy is our highest priority.

WE DON NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OR STORE ANY PAYMENT DATA.

To process your orders, we use the services of our payment partner Stripe.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.

Why and how do we use your personal data?

We only use your information where you've given us your consent, where its necessary to deliver the services you've requested, where it’s necessary to exercise or comply with legal rights or obligations, or for normal business purposes of the kind set out in this policy.

With your consent, our App also allow you to use location services to find activities or places nearby with directions. Also with your consent, we may send you push notifications and emails with information about your Purchases and Reservation in order to provide services requested by you.

Your details could also be used for analyses and to improve our services, for marketing and promotional purposes and for all other purposes authorised by the law.

How do we keep your personal data secure?

Keeping your personal data secure is our highest priority. We limit access to only those Suppliers who have to come into contact with your information to do their jobs and deliver the services or products you have purchased.

Unfortunately, no website or app can guarantee complete security but we have created an organisation-wide security programme designed to keep your personal data as safe as possible. It uses a range of technical, organisational and administrative security measures and best-practice techniques, depending on the type of data being processed. For example, the computer systems we use to store your data have access limitations and in-cloud based servers that use industry-standard disc encryption. We use TLS and HTTPS encryption to protect your personal data when we transfer it across the internet.

How long do we store your personal data?

We only keep your data for as long as we need it or are required to for legal reasons. We’ll then either delete it or anonymise it so it doesn’t identify you. We treat data differently depending on what it’s used for.

When is your information accessed by third parties?

The Linkcorp Platform only allows your personal information to be accessed where you ask us to, where it’s a necessary part of doing business with you and providing you with the services, or where we need to for legal reasons. Suppliers you book with MyHighStreet app network have access to your data in line to provide the service or product you have purchased. 

Where do we store your information?

We store the information we collect from you on secure servers in various locations, depending on where you are in the world when you access our Platform.

These servers are provided and/or supported by licensed third parties, carefully selected by us who also are fully compliant with GDPR rules.

What are your choices and rights?

If you’ve got a MyHighStreet account, you can access, edit or delete the key personal data associated with your profile at any time by going to your Profile.

You also have rights in relation to the personal data we have about you, which we explain in more detail below. You can exercise these rights by getting in touch with us by emailing us to support@thelinkcorp.com.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data; to correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data; and to obtain the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, machine readable format. In addition, you can object to the processing of your personal data in some circumstances (in particular, where we don’t have to process the data to meet a contractual or other legal requirement).   • Close your account: While we’d be very sad to see you go, you can close your account if you no longer want to use our Services.
